Is it noisy? I sit near people.

No. There is no fan and no moving parts, so it makes no sound at all. It warms by radiant heat through the felt rather than blowing air around, which is why it works in a shared office where a space heater would get you noticed.

My office banned space heaters. Is this different?

It draws only 51–75W. A typical plug-in space heater pulls around 1500W — roughly twenty times more — which is why they trip breakers and end up banned. This is a low-wattage radiant panel with no exposed element, no glowing filament and no hot air blown out, and it sits fully under your desk out of sight. Worth a quick check with your own workplace, but it is a very different device to the heater those policies were written about.

Is it safe to leave on all day?

It has an auto shut-off timer you can set for up to 6 hours, so it switches itself off rather than running unattended. At 51–75W it is a low-draw appliance, not a high-wattage heater. You set it once in the morning and it takes care of itself.

Will it fit under my desk?

It folds completely flat, roughly the footprint of a laptop sleeve, then opens out into the three-sided shape in the footwell. If you have room for your feet, you have room for it. When you are done it folds down and slides out of the way.

Does it only heat my feet?
